Your Trial

A trial takes place usually at a bride's home but the venue is entirely up to you. It can take place whenever you like, most usually take place 6-8 weeks before the wedding although there are no hard and fast rules. It is essential that a trial is carried out on a bride as the products used on you must be tested to check that you have no sensitivities to them. The trial should be done in daylight as it enables us to work in the conditions that we will have on your wedding day.

The first thing that will happen at your trial is that we will discuss the kinds of colours that you like and dislike and also talk about the kind of look that you are after, be it glamorous or natural or anything in between! Don't worry if you are really unsure as we will try a variety until we find something you are 100% happy with.

Your wedding make-up will be applied using a number of different quality brands. I use a variety of products and techniques to ensure your make up remains fresh and flawless all day and night. I will tell you the brand and shade of lipstick used so that you can either buy your own for on the day top ups or I will provide you with a sample amount that will keep you going through the day. I will take a photograph so you can see just how your makeup will look. I will record the make up used on a smudge sheet so that I can exactly replicate the look on the day. If you wish to book a trial I do require a deposit of £20 that will secure your wedding day in my diary. This £20 is deducted from your trial price.
